FROM BOYS TO MEN
Mentoring has historically been the bridge between an individual’s aspirations and successful attainment of those goals. CNF Mentoring programs encapsulate a comprehensive methodology designed to promote a holistic experience for youth that embraces individuality, appreciation of diversity, and empathy. Through intentional and strategic indoctrination, CNF mentees are empowered to celebrate their uniqueness, overcome barriers, and enhance their communities.
our program consist of:
Group Mentoring
The Cam Newton Foundation features a group oriented approach to mentoring. CNF Mentees are exposed to a curriculum that focuses on personal/character development, academic achievement, and leadership training. Group guidance lessons are facilitated twice a month, utilizing a structured rotation process. Mentees are divided into teams named for a college or university, and rotate through three 50 minute guidance lessons focusing on each tenet. Additionally, mentees are provided career support designed to assist them in assessing their individual skills and exploring potential careers that align with their respective skills and interests. Lastly, team building exercises are facilitated to orient mentees to essential ingredients for overcoming challenges, building trust, and working effectively with others.
One-to-One Mentoring
CNF Mentoring Program renders one-to-one mentoring which affords each mentee an opportunity to have private dialogue and engagement from an adult mentor. The one-on-one mentoring component features an intentional, strategic approach geared towards accountability, goal-setting, and problem-solving.
